Families Blessed with the World's Children

Who we are-

Families Blessed with the World’s Children is an international adoption support group dedicated to promoting  international adoption.  Founded in 1995, our goals are to provide advice and support to adoptive parents and those considering adoption and educate ourselves as well as the public about adoption and our children’s culture.  Families Blessed is a non-profit, volunteer organization relying on member support to plan and execute our yearly activities.  We are an affiliate chapter of Families with Children from China.

Our activities-

Families Blessed with the World’s Children sponsors four major events per year:

v    Chinese New Year Celebration

v    Walk for Hope to benefit Chinese orphans

v    Moon Festival picnic

v    Educational Event

We produce 4-5 newsletters per year to share information about upcoming events, book reviews and information  concerning local and international events that affect our members.  Families Blessed members also keep in touch via an e-mail group to plan playgroups and smaller outings.
